Outsell did a survey with approximately 1,000 businesses in the United States about the amount they spend on advertising on the Internet, and the survey showed that webinars as well as search engine marketing is a vital part in the amount that will be spent this year on the advertising online. The lead analyst and vice-president for Outsell, Chuck Richard stated, “Advertisers are directing [their budgets] towards the channels which generate the most qualified leads and most effective branding.”

This is not a surprise, with how much consumers depend on the Internet for researching products and well as purchasing some of the products. The majority of people will use a search engine to investigate a product before they travel to a physical store or make the purchase online for personal or business use.
